The Franklin Community School District enrollment for the 2019 – 2020 school year is underway. We are currently working on our transportation routes and need to make sure we are ready for the start of school. If you have a student who needs to ride the bus, you need to register as soon as possible. We cannot plan our routes until all students have registered. You can register online or come to the school between the hours of 8 am and 3 pm. We look forward to seeing our students on August 21st.

Just a reminder that Franklin is now a “First Day Exclusion” school. This means all students in Pre-K, Kindergarten, 6th and 9th grade’s have to have their current physical and record of immunization turned into the office by the first day of school or else your child is not allowed to attend school. Please try to turn in this information when you register your child.
Pre-K screening is being held on Friday, August 9th for any children who will be 3 years old by September 1st. This is only for students who did not attend the spring screening. To make an appointment please call East Grade School at 675-2334.
PTF is having a Pack the Place night at Leo’s on July 31st. Just mention Franklin PTF and part of the proceeds will go to our group. Dine in or carry out is available.
August is almost here so that means we are gearing up for another school year. PK parents, I wanted to inform you of the schedule for the first few days. Mrs. Ballard will be doing home visits on August 21, 22, and 23. She will have an open house event on Monday the 26th with the regular schedule beginning on the 27th.
For all K-5 students, we will be having a Meet the Teacher Night on Tuesday the 20th from 5:30-6:30. Students are encouraged to bring their supplies that evening. School will begin on Wednesday the 21st with a 2pm dismissal.
School registration was held back on June 12th - 20th. We understand that some families were not able to register during that time.
We will be opening online registration again from August 1st thru August 9th. After August 9th you will be required to come to the office to register your child.
The high school office will be open 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM starting on August 1st to register students.

A reminder that school registration will be: Wednesday, June 12th, 2019 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. All students grade K-12 may register at Franklin High School. Online registration will open on this day. You can choose to register your child from home instead of coming to school. Payment options will be available online or at school. The window for online registration will be from June 12 - June 20.
There is a junior high cheerleader and parent/guardian meeting on Wednesday, June 12th at 6:30 in the high school computer lab. This meeting is open to any girl entering 6th through 8th grades next year. There will be a uniform representative at the meeting to measure girls for uniforms. We will also discuss expenses, fundraising, practices, and much more. If you are interested but cannot attend, please email Coach Isaacks at kisaacks@franklinhigh.com.
