Books, books, books! We are so thankful to the Kenny Family and the fund they have provided for the students in our school. We were able to purchase a 2nd grade guided reading set (600 books! ) for our teachers and students at East Grade to use during their reading time.

Attention 8th Grade Parents After meeting with the Junior High Student Council members, we have decided to change the 8th Grade promotion process. In the past, we held the 8th Grade Graduation Ceremony. This ceremony only lasted 12-15 minutes. In our discussions, we wanted to combine the Junior High awards ceremony with 8th Grade Graduation. So beginning this year, we will have a Junior High Honors Dinner Banquet. This will be held in late May. More details will be coming out soon. Thanks, Mr. Waggener

Good morning, the Franklin school district will not be in session today, February 13th. The temperature is quickly dropping and will continue all day. Slush from yesterday’s storm is freezing and making many of our side roads slick. Student safety is always our number one priority.
